    Default pain in my legs

Wuz up guys? Lately I have been doing a lot of jump roping and I have started to expirience some pretty discomforting pain around the bone in the lower part of my legs I belive its called the shins. Any ways its like when you have a bruise and you press on it that type of pain like if my shins were bruised. I have also started to feel some pain in my knee caps. I told my mom and she told me that I'm pushing my self too hard, but I disagree. I feel like I am in fairly good shape and I dont feel like I am working my self too hard at all. Can any one relate to what I am saying? Any advise? Should I just work through it?

i would recommend a good set of cross training shoes with padding to reduce the shock

You need adequate rest, you don't want the shin splint to turn into a stress fracture.. let it heal- up get some good shoes, in a week or so depending on the time needed , (Here is how you tell) . once you can work out again pain free your healed up

I would consider stretching and strengthening the calf muscles to help prevent the injury from returning.

hope that helped you out some... Good Luck brother !

I just got over a case of shin splints myself, definitely no fun.

Ice them bad boys, I know it alleviated a lot of that pain for me.
