I'd say Tyson, but it's so hard to decide. If only they were around at the same time.

If I could choose any two fighters in history to go against each other this would be the fight, as far as pure physical talent Mike Tyson would come in with the advantage, as far as tactics and ring generalship Ali would have the advantages, the fight would be very similiar to the first Liston fight but Mike would be able to put on a little more pressure and do more damage to Ali, but I see Ali moving all night and not letting Mike establish a rhythm of trading punches, Ali in a UD but he would not talk about being pretty after the fight.

I'd have to go with Ali. Pretty confidently even over a prime Tyson.

I just think he'd frustrate the hell out of Tyson with the movement, the jab. Tyson did have great power and speed, but I definitely don't see Ali just crumbling, with the all other stuff, he had a real good chin too.

Horeshit. Prime Tyson couldn't stop Bonecrusher smith, Tony tucker, James Tillis, there is no way in hell Ali wouldn't have lasted the distance at least, and imo he would have won. Tyson nerver fought anything close to Ali, Ali fought several opponents who were in Tysons league, Frazier and Liston in fact both had very similar aspects to their game..

He was faster then Liston, Frazier and Foreman with as much power. Plus had a MUCH better defence then any of them.

If ali could wear forman down by simply obsorbing punishment what makes you think he couldn't handle tysons power(although tyson was faster I cant say he was more powerful....

that rumble in the jungle would have been a bit different to a modern day fight with the ropes and the heat and the fan base.......i personally think they mite edge a bit towards tyson! u never know lol but it would be good.

    Ali smarter.

Ali would beat Mike Tyson. Ali would have got into Mike's head like no one else ever has. Not even Mike's medication would have help Tyson in this area. Ali had a pretty solid chin too. Tyson was fighting a bunch of turds and knocking them out. Ali was not a turd.

Damn straight he would have gotten in his head!!! And true the meds would have no affect... At least not as effective as Ali's mouth. Tyson would have nawed through his jugular

Ali UD, one tough bloke, very well conditioned... Even a prime Tyson faded down the stretch.

VERY good chin and he has delt with similar styles well before.

That is just taking into account Ali's physical attributes

When Holyfeild beat Tyson, Tyson may not have been in his prime or boxed much really, but Ali is a level above Holdfeild in terms of ring craft and a boxing brain, I'd see this going much the same way.

Plus like others are saying, Tyson would be EASY for Ali to wind up pre fight... Tyson would beat himself trying to kill Ali whilst Ali danced and picked Tyson off.

I really like Tyson's style in his prime, he was a force but we can't get too carried away with him, put it this way... on a certain night he might be able to beat Ali... but 9 times out of 10 Ali UDs him.
