In the past recent weeks, Bernard Hopkins had made it pretty much clear that he is willing to come out of retirement and step up to the Heavyweight division to face the World Boxing Council heavyweight champion Oleg Maskaev.

According to a published report by Jim Jenkins in Sacremento Bee, the promoter representing Maskaev's, Dennis Rappaport, said Hopkins' interest is more than idle talk. Rappaport also said, Golden Boy Promotions' representatives
have contacted him about the possibility of Hopkins turning heavyweight to take on Maskaev.

Don Chargin, an adviser to Golden Boy said: "Bernard might be (Maskaev's) most attractive opponent."

The report in the Sacremento Bee further stated that Maskaev said he's willing to fight Hopkins after his next challenge. Maskaev is set to defend his title in Moscow against No. 10 contender Peter Okhello of Uganda on December 9th.

There are many boxers that can be mentioned in the same sentence as Bernard Hopkins you bloody snotrag, being in the top 15 of all time is saying a whole lot, and winning a HW title after being a MW would put him there, I don't think he is in the top 15 as of now but he is still a HOF.
