Default Fights maybe no one thought about...

    Allan Green-Edison Miranda at 168
    Arthur Abraham-Peter Manfredo at 160 or 168
    Felix Sturm-Amin Asikainen at 160
    Fernando Vargas-Mikkel Kessler at 168

Well these are some I came up with....discuss

    FINE!

Green-Miranda: In this one I see Green getting stunned by a right cross yet I see him blasting Miranda out in the middle rounds.

Abraham-Manfredo: I see Peter taking Abraham's best shots and standing up to him. Manfredo UD

Sturm-Asikainen: I think Sturm has really been hurt by his loss to Casillejo but I think he comes back with a vengence and decisions Amin.

Vargas-Kessler: This is a tough fight to call, not because Vargas is ALWAYS hurt or having trouble making weight but because Kessler is untested vs punchers ESPECIALLY to the body. El Feroz will put up a good hard fight but he's been through too many wars to get through this one. Kessler late stoppage

    Ok.

1 Will never happen different weight classes, if it did Green is getting sparked

    2. Will never happen, neither would ever travel, different weight classes. Manfredo wouldnt move down to face Abraham in Germany when he could fight the rubber match with Alfonso Gomez at the Dunkin Donuts centre down the road from his house.

    3. Never heard of Asikainen, is he the Egyptian Sun God?

    4. Vargas-Kessler, come on be serious Kessler would absolutely murder Vargas, not even a fight, more a massacre imo.

Kessler would destroy this version of Vargas at 168, that's not even overhyping Kessler, but he's bigger, stronger and just better.

Asikainen is a decent fighter 30 years old 19 (14 KO)-0-0...most noteable win was over Sebastian Sylvester whom he KO'd

OK how about this if it suits you better bilbo

    Miranda-Pavlik 160
    Bika-Manfredo 168
    Froch-Bute 168
    Lacy-Kessler at 168

Never seen Pavlik fight so can't comment but I'll go with Miranda, he looks a real strong guy.

Manfredo-Bika, I would go with Manfredo, he can handle himself pretty good when it comes to the rough stuff I imagine.

Froch-Bute, I've only seen Bute fight once, last time out so impossible to make a judgement. Probably depends entirely on where it was held, London then Froch, Montreal then Bute.

Lacy- Kessler, I think Kess would be too skilfull for him, UD for the Viking Warrior.

The matchups I would love to see are.

    1) Green vs Manfredo, surely this fight will be made seeing as Green fought on the Contender card last weekend. A real 50/50 pick em fight imo

    2) Cazghe vs Froch, I'm spectical about Joe ever actually travelling to the US and fight so he should at least fight his biggest domestic rival. I'd rather see him in with Froch than Woods who I think is largely a paper champion in a week division.

3)Khan vs Kevin Mitchell, he has to step up soon and I'd like to see our two hottest prospects in action together. Not sure if Mitchell is big enough to keep Khan off him though.

4)Judah vs Margarito, I would love to see Zab outpoint Tony just to silence all the nuthuggers. As Zab is probably the most loathsome fighter he could lose to it would make it especially sweet

I love all the Manfredo love latly... I took a beaten for over a year from people on here... Now everyone is playing with fights like Manfredo/Green, Beyer, RJJ, Abraham........Are not out of the question... I didn't say calzaghe cuz although we've talked about it..... No I don't like it... I want him to get a winning streak going... Not kill it. Anyway, I am truly glad he's starting to earn respect. He grew up in my home town so of course I'll root for him... I'm just happy he has found Roach and his father is managing him well.... Never thought I'd see love for Manfredo on here!!

Amin Asikainen is a fantastic fighter from finland I believe, seen him fight twice on eurosport, he's current euro champ at middleweight, he's very exciting to watch, he'd be a nightmare for Sturm, they were talking about that one, i'd like to see asikainen fight Castillejo.
Sturm needs to rest and regroup. It went tits up v castillejo.
Remember the good old days, we miss you Marco!

He's starting to get some respect now but honestly I'd take Mora over him every day of the week.

To be honest Manfredo was my favourite on the show along with Gilbert and Bonsante and I hated Mora, but since they have gone about doing their own thing I've started to like Gilbert and Manfredo less and start to appreciate Mora a lot more.

I think it's mainly to do with all the smack Manfredo talks, since leaving the show he has badmouthed practically everybody, him and Ishe Smith are a couple of little whiny bitches.

Mora for all his percieved arrogance never really talks smack like the others do. On the show he was one of the few boxers, along with Tarrick and maybe a couple others who just got on with the business of fighting and left all the bitching and whining to the likes of Smith and Brinkley.

I really like him, no matter what anyone else thinks of him, plus I felt he deserved to win the rematch with Manfredo.

If they ever do fight again Mora will make it 3 strikes and out for Manfredo, no matter what weight they fight at.

Manfredo has improved dramatically but he's a one dimensional fighter. Give him credit he works his corner's game plan well but if things don't go according to plan in the ring he can't adapt and just carries on fighting the same fight as he prepared for.

Mora can adapt, totally taken out of his gameplan in the rematch with Manfredo when he was cut really badly he regained his composure and by the last couple rounds in my opinion and that of the judges he had regained control of the fight. Calzaghe showed against Bika that overcoming that kind of adversity is a tough thing to do.

Against the Shark Attack he recovered from being knocked down to dominate and he figured out awkward lanky Eric Regan, (who had beaten Yory Boy Campas prior to that) within a couple of rounds. Of course Manfredo guest commentating didn't want to give Mora any credit though

I think Manfredo is getting a little too cocky and arrogant now. After knocking out Spina, one of the biggest bums around, lets be honest, he said contempuously 'He's got his 15 minutes of fame through fighting me and made some money, now I can go on to bigger things.'

Yeah Peter, like you arn't living off the back of being a 3 time loser on a reality TV show,

Manfredo's main appeal to my mind lies on the back of him having a young family and a really cute daughter who tugged at the heartstrings before all of his Contender fights.

Like I said I used to like him a lot, but I'm beginning to like him less and less.

    back.

It's not that I dislike him, it's just he's got carried away with his own hype and from the way he talks you would think he won the whole damn show!

He needs to tone it down...  But what I will say is this...  I want him, now, to fight a top 10 guy...  As a fan I hear his mouth...  Fight a slacken Beyer, fight a green(saw him fight in person in Prov and quite unimpressive, although a HUGE obsticle for Peter) or a Bika....  "Put you money where your mouth is"  I knew there was a reason why I listen to you, Bilbo...  You're a smart cat!
