dude briggs is a bum he hasnt beat any good fighters in like 8yrs if you count a ancient foreman.
he is not in good shape to go more than 8rds he will be breathing heavy by rd4 and stopped before the 10th. i dunno what the hype is about briggs lately , he was going to be a tuneup for wlad but the fight fell through and now he's in there against serguei. lets remember that serguei easily whooped brewster's ass, granted brewster was nothing GREAT but he was tough, he had a big punch
(bigger than briggs imo) and a great chin. briggs has a weak chin and worse stamina than even brewster does! once again it looks to me that shannon was to lazy to do raod work and drop the weight so he just pumped iron and turned the fat to muscle, not a great idea. i would pick briggs in an arm wresling match over serguei tonight , but not a twelve rd championship fight. i assure you he wont see the tenth rd, he will be floundering around the ring like wlad did against brewster when he shot his load too early trying to knock him out. believe me serguei's chin is solid (he took brewster's all night) and briggs wont hit him half as much brewster did. i hate briggs because i like him. i wish he was in good shape for this fight. (lets remember he weighed 228 against lewis, there was no reason he couldnt come in around even 240ish for this fight!)
