Default Hatton easing back into training

He looks fairly trim to me already, i think he makes 140 easily, i think the Uranga fight is going to be awesome, just watched a few clips of him and these two will be meeting in the middle of the ring for one war, uranga is a monster built like a tank, i think Ricky will need to be clever in this fight for sure.

He has size and he is strong but this is a big step up for him....My question is can he bang toe to toe at Ricky's pace for the whole fight?

Of course not. He couldn't even legitimately win his last fight against a lesser fighter. This guy is a total bum and this fight is a joke. Shame on Ricky Hatton.

hey shza why's he a bum? he looks a bit more like a young, hungry, undefeated prospect you has been deeemed good enough to be a world champion. but then again that did look like a perfect oportunity to have a little pop at hatton now didn't it. you just couldnt help your self.

Urango is slow one dimensional and predictable and open for every punch in the book. Perfect fight for Hatton if Ricky fights the way he did against Tackie.

    Ok... He's a bum, because:

    1. He's only undefeated because (a) he's fought a bunch of bums, and (b) he would nonetheless have a couple of losses on his record if he hadn't gotten gift decisions.

    2. He's a title holder (not "world champion") only because he got a gift decision against Ben Rabah (see point 1(b) above). So, to sum up on that one, he didn't even have to beat a beltholder to get the belt, and in fact, he didn't even beat the guy that was in front of him to get the belt.

Seriously, are you actually going to act like this is a respectable fight for Hatton to make? He promises Collazo a rematch and then fights some schmuck paper-titlist who lost his last fight instead? If Hatton wants to prove that the Kostya fight wasn't a fluke and that he belongs on anyone's p4p list he needs to seriously step it up. Especially if he's only going to keep fighting for another 2-3 years. Again, this fight is a joke and a waste of time. I'll be happy if the Castillo fight actually gets made--*that* will be a big step up.

Just admit that this fight is shite but that it's just a warm-up or something--don't act like this is a respectable event in itself, because it's obviously not.
