    Default Taylor vs. Miranda

What interests me about this is simply that Taylor, although he's fought good fighters, has never been in with a young, strong, agressive power puncher. Ouma was agressive but no power and undersized.

Winky, Hopkins, both great fighters, but Winky doesn't have much power at all and Hopkins was too tentative. I'd like to see Taylor react to a guy that could really test his chin and keep coming all night. Even though Miranda's raw he does have power and would pressure JT all night.

    Any thoughts?

If Taylor was backing up all night and hugging Ouma all night, he'd most likely be pretty tentative against Miranda.

Im yet to see the Ouma Taylor fight, but from what ive heard... Yeah, id give Miranda a very got chance and stopping Taylor late.

Mind you, i know Miranda is a damn hard puncher... But is he a volume puncher to?

I think it would force him to BOX which would be really good for him. I think Miranda is a one trick pony and with more help from Manny JT can go far but the power Miranda has is unquestionably the best in the division right now.

B-Hop had very good power and I think people really underestimate JT's power but it's on account of the fact he uses it all up in the first half of the fight with being tight and throwing wild punches.

Miranda could counter JT and make it VERY interesting

Taylor UD. I havent yet seen the Taylor-Ouma fight but he still won so hey he got the job done! Everyone has there off days. Taylor overall is a much better technical boxer IMO then Miranda and would box him.

I mean he doesn't throw a ton of punches but he's fairly active.

I just want to see Taylor versus an agressive big puncher, its the one type of fighter he really hasn't fought.

Maybe he'd look good, Miranda is open for a right hand.

Let me say this...for Miranda to be a one trick poney...he's pretty good at his tricks.

Honestly...Miranda's got the pop to jar Taylor out of his comfort zone & that is very easily done.

I hate to sound like such a basher of Taylor...but pan back to the first Hopkins fight (Rounds 9-11), then the Wright fight (Round 6 or 7 when Wright cornered him over & over & over), & then last night after his cut & the fact that he couldn't stop Ouma.

Taylor folds under pressure & Miranda does indeed bring pressure. He brought it to Eastman & Abraham...argueabley two of the better chinned/jawed ( ) middlemen. Granted Abraham took it for 12...but he gave just as good as he took...to stop Eastman...I was pretty shocked...even though it was a bit of a question mark...he still dropped Eastman.

I think it'd be the ruffest fight of Taylor's career.

Okay understood. Its just a shame that Taylor has definate plans to move up to 168

You say Miranda is good at his one trick .....I say for folding under pressure JT does a good job of winning!

Good arguement...it'd be a valid point...if he didn't have so much gotdam help.

With power like miranda carries, anything is a possibility...

..but i feel Taylor took Ouma a little lightly TBH honest last night.

I believe Eastman could give miranda another loss of theyr fought again actually - too much pedigree.
