This is a crazy thing....I don't even understand why he would come out with such statements?.....Has there been an official publicly available test that shows where he is not positive?...One by a NYS or other athletic commision?.Does he realize even if it was a mistake ...That just because the word HIV and he are linked even in the slightest no worthy fighter ( or unworthy for that matter) will take the chance?...even if it is 10,000,000,000 to 1 that it can be caught in the ring?....Who the hell would be willing to ref or even be a cut man?.....Why doesn't he just give it up?
There are plenty of things a former ranked contender/ Title challenger/ belt holder can do in this sport to stay involved and make money...This is just plain insanity

I'm 100% against this...in about the same vain as the Mesi fiasco.

You failed the tests & that's that.

But Morrison's issues are also in the blood & diseases can change in an instant & what would bother me the most is the definition of the word DORMANT concerning his condition.

    Again...diseases are a tricky thing & theyr'e always adapting.

No way in hell should he be allowed to compete again.

I agree. Never mind what Morrison wants. How about the boxers that are supposed to get in the ring with him?

....Tommy's ex-wife says she's HIV positive now due to him.

He shouldn't compete anymore because unlike Mesi's injury, Morrison can adversely affect the other fighter's health it would be no different than loading up a glove or repeated rabbit punching or anything else illegal like that.

Well you gotta think that the guy has been through some shit and it has caught up with him, I'm not sure how he's doing in regards to any substance abuse but I am thinking he is in denial and feel cheated out of his career and honestly I think he would have been champion and a good one too.

He would never have beat Lewis but he had a good shot, better than Golota or Grant.

Morrison-Holyfield would have been a BRAWL

Morrison-Tyson would have also been a brawl

Morrison-Golota would have been a big win for Tommy as he would have jumped on him early

    Morrison-Rahman would have been good

    Morrison-Maskaev would have been good

    Morrison-Peter, Morrison-Toney, Morrison-Byrd

You can't name a fight he could have been in that would have been bad

But I hate to see him really put himself out there for humiliation and ridicule like he's doing....because fighters and trainers will definantly talk about this

Who wants to fight him? Who even wants to cover him? Photogs get blood on them all the time. Who the hell risks that?

If he does fight it's on one of those New Mexico cards or a Stacy Goodson production. No way does he ever headline again so....why?

Simple, he was cut out of the sport when he was nearing his prime....he feels he was denied his greatness or his chance at it

That's fair. But when was his last fight? 10 years at least right? Ok....during that 10 years you have to come to some sort of realization that your career is over. Otherwise that 10 years has been wasted. He needs to come to grips with his situation. He's got HIV. Everyone knows it. He needs to stop. He gets a cut...gets an infection and that could potentially risk his life. It's not worth it. I know it's tough mentally...and a lot easier said than done. But done it has to be. Makes you wonder what people are saying around him?
