cc for the news man this guy doesnt hang around must want to get home in time for dinner  :POriginally Posted by Tam Seddon
The guys a machine! downloading the fight now, shouldnt take long :P
Hell of a puncher, time for pac dont you guys think? Pac needs to move on with his opponents they are made for each other gonna be one hell of a fight!
CC back man. Bloody hell, i know he was fighting a bum but all of these 1st round ko's gotta mean something. What i dont want Edwin doing is getting sloppy fighting bums all the time and talking a big fight and never taking it. imo he needs to fight a big name next. Anybody in the top 10 would be kool to see.Originally Posted by ICE COLD BOXING

They need to put him in with some durable fghts with enough ring savvy to last a few rounds, maybe take him the distance.
I'm sure there are plenty of fighters out there who could give him a full distance fight, he needs to be put in with fighters who won't full down at the first opportunity.
If he can get another 3 or 4 good fights with several rounds experience in each then he could be ready for a decent opponent in 2008, MRI scan permitting.
But right now Pacquiao would have far too much experience and would knock Valero out inside 5 rounds.
He almost went against Mosquera remember.
Lozada and Pacman are not even close to the same caliber of fighter....Just as Valero and Pacman are not either. Pac would take him into deeper waters and pick him apart
Psalm 144: Blessed be the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle
CC for the news. Valero said he was dissappointed because he wanted the fight to go on for longer. I have yet to see but I heard that the other guy should not even have been in the same ring as Valero because he had awful wins over aging fighters? Anyway,NO WAY,is Valero ready for Pacman. He;s not ready for anyone yet,he's hardly had any pro rounds, needs to work on his sharpening his technique but damthe boy can hit and hit hard that's for sure. You have to remember,Mosquera was a tough fighter,in a hostile environment and was a BIG sep up for Valero and he did really well but Pac is like 10 levels above Mosquera.
valero needs to step up his level of oppenent first, get some decent names atleast NOT ANOTHER BUM...his fans and him needs to stop mentioning the boogymans name(pac) because pac might here about him and end his hype up short career. valero is nowhere near ready for a beast like pac, pac has walk throught jmm em and mabs punches and them guys k.oed way better oppenent then valero, I won't be surprise if valeros power is overrated all he has k.oed are bums compare to the guys jmm mab em and pac has k.oed.
if pac and valero do fight, what happens when valero lands flush and pac walks through that too...he will be a deadman. the hype k.oing bums will be over...larios may have look to stun pac but pac shook that off like it was nothing and whoop larios in that same round, but I bet pac won't take valero as easy as he took larios, so pac won't allow a mistake to happen and just totally overwhelm valero.
advise for valero, get some better guys under his belt, don't mention pacs name just yet, because pac has a history of going after guys that he hears are good...plus pac would love to fight him so don't mention his name yet, its best for valeros career.
valero could end up like vargas young and hype but got whoop when stepping up to an elite.but valero is not even a vargas or will be. vargas had hbo already. valero only has the internet doorks.hype helps but once in with an elite its all over.
That was one of best puches of the year,a left hand counter and the opponent fell over like 3-4times from the same punch. Valero looked like he was using his jab more too although there's only so much you can tell in 2 minutes!!
I tell you, once V Nom gets his technique sorted out to how he and all his fans know it can be,he will be the man at whichever weight class he is because bum or not,he KTFO that guy with the first serious punch he threw. Valero has got power, not only his koed but you guys who have seen his sparring know what I'm talking about and for those that don't...
Valero nearly KTFO Urbano Antillion in sparring,a guy who is 18-0 in the pros. Valero shook him so bad,you could see the reaction in his legs, they had to stop the session. Dougie Fischer, who's been watching sparring for 15 years has never seen anything like it and I've never heard of sparring being stopped because of a headshot.
Valero also sparred with Erik Morales quite a few times and got the better of him too,I remember one particular session when V Nom was countering Morales for most of the session. It was awesome.
You can argue it is only sparring but my point is,he has shown how brilliant he can be in sparring but the Valero you see in fights is TOTALLY different, wild, sloppy, and bums or not(Mosquera whom he won the title from is NO bum)he's wining fights fighting like a savage. Imagine how good he will be when uses the technique most of his fans and I have seen?? He uses his footwork for defence and counters alot, uses his power, boxes,it's awesome really!
I just hope he uses it in fights and he needs more experience too because he is just NOT getting enough rounds!
Valero needs a little better opposition but I can tell from watching Valero fight that he is a very awkward southpaw. And with that power and aggression and the southpaw factor, I think that the hype is justified in this case. The Mosquera fight proved to me that this guy is for real. Valero is so fucking aggressive that I thought that he would blow his load in the first couple of rounds trying to knock people out and not have anything left in the late rounds, but in that fight, he still had energy to take into the tenth. Valero vs Guzman needs to happen NOW!!!
That first round knockouut shit is crazy!!!!
Who has he knocked out? NObody to my knowldege but I don't profess t konw every fighter but has he beat anyone worth mentioning?
That sounded critically assholish.
Don't mean it to be. Respect to the man & his fans...I just neeed help on the man.
Can he beat or compete with Pacquiao?
Valero is still to green for PAC as long Valero keeps fighting that caliber of fighters he will continue to win easily....Originally Posted by titleist905t
It's time he takes it to the next level of opponents. IMO
But NOT World Class just yet....![]()
what does too green mean? but yea I agree not world class yet but he does need to step up the oppositions a bit. guzman maybe this year after some good names will be good. but pac may have gusman next though I hear bob arum wanted that since mab and jmm is schedule I think guzman is a good for pac next. maybe a valero should get barrios next or aurthor then guzman or pac maybe even mab or jmm...but hope he stop fighting bums.Originally Posted by CutMeMicK
Green is used in reference to a fruit for example (When a Mango is still green it means it's not ready) in this case Valero is still too green (is not ready)Originally Posted by BoxingGod
