Default Just Got an Xbox 360 need some help please!

Alright so I just got an xbox 360 the core edition and I got FNR3. My question is do I need some sort of memory device to save my career mode on FNR3. I mean I was playing for about 2 maybe 3 hours then turned it off thinking that it had already saved to the hard drive. So the next day when I go to play my career mode isn't there. I was kinda pissed because that was allot of time spent ya know. So my qustion is do I need memory or can you save profiles and games to the hard drive like you could with the original xbox. If you can save to the hard drive how the heck can I do it. Thanks in advance.

Memory cards are pretty poor... Only good for about two, maybe three game saves tops!

Get yourself a Hard Drive and you can have almost limitless game saves plus a few demos and arcade games from XboxLive too

Hard Drive is a must... I cant work out why Xbox have a core package on the market?

Nope, It is a 20GB hard drive. Not sure of the price. Harddrive is a must to play backward compatible Xbox titles on the console. They have random updates from XBL.

Thanks Duke I appreciate the info. I guess I am gonna have to go get a hard drive tonight then damn. XBL means xbox live right. So I have to down load something to be able to play backward compatible xbox titles on the 360? How much does xbox live cost a month anyway does anyone know. I really knew at this. I just got the xbox because it was so cheap I couldn't pass it up.

I have a quick question. I just signed up for the xbox live and just lost my first fight because I use buttons instead of analog and I wasn't use to it. I was wondering if anyone know if I can use buttons when fighting online? Because I suck with analog. If I can't then I am going to have to practice analog. I would appreciate the help. Thanks guys.

Aparently Coniguration 5 is the best for button mashers users

    Hope this helps.

    Hey no probs.

You have to change to config on the on-line menu (when your selecting your fighter).

I you just select options, or on-line options (not sure).

Oh alright cool, thanks allot man. So if I just go to options on the actuall game settings before going online and change the config that way it won't work I take it? So right when I'm about to select a fighter I change the config there, is that what your saying? I don't remember there being a config there, but I have only played once online. Thanks again man I really appreciate it, I really new to playing online seams fun though.
