best boxer actor

I think tommy did a good job at rocky v. if you didn't know him that much you`d think he was just an actor not actually a real live boxer. he did a great job acting theres no awkward moment when he was acting he made it look natural.

what do you guys think about tarver though?

Most people blame Tommy(I thought he did exceptionally well) for Rocky being an bad movie, But the script sucked and Rock's son was just a queer retard.

tommy did great when he was calling out rocky total bad ass graving for respect.

briggs in the transporter all he did was hold the little kid and look like the muscle head of the group.

lewis and klitschko at oceans, they just fake a fight.

and roy in the matrix, I didn't even know that haha, I think tarver is a better actor. roy has a stiff look not as flexible as tarves character.

toney was dope as joe frazier I think no one could of played that any better then toney. but then again toney was prolly just being toney that's why he did so good.

yea rocky v, did have a bad script rockys son made the movie bad and the whole story about rocky training tommy then tommy turning out to be an ass. the rocky with drago was the best rocky ever. drago made me think he was a real live killing machine I was in fear for that guy my whole boyhood til teen years when he killed appolo he look real scary. that's the kind of thing made the ufc popular fighters with intimidating character.something boxing lost since tyson got whoop. now a days we have businessman as boxer, rarely true fighters warrior mentality

mickey rourke in 'homeboy'. he was an actor but boxed as a kid, then he turned pro, had about 13 fights (i think) then went back to acting. so he was pretty convincing as an actor obviously.
toney was ok in ali. frazier mumbles loads now but wasnt a mumbler back in his day like toney is in ali.
i reckon tommy morrison does a good job in rocky 5. and tarver is good aswell.
i didnt even know roy jones was in the matrix? which one is he in and where the fuck is he ? (i'll get the dvd out boys)
tyson has a little cameo in rocky 6 having a strop with mason dixon (tarver) from ringside. a convinsing strop i reckon. was this acting or a genuine strop? very convincing. he also has a little cameo in 'play it to the bone'. but he just walks past and doesnt say anything.

Yeah, Toney was actually quiet good as Frazier... similar attitude etc so not a lot of it was acting. All RJJ had to do was deliver lines... wasn't really a character there... can't remember him in Devil's Advocote or what ever he was in.

The Duke in Rocky?... Urgh... he gets it simply because he acted more than the others... Toney was better than him but outside of boxing had very little screen time.

Lennox lewis didn't even speak in Oceans did he? Just looked confused when the lights went off.

Mike Tyson played himself in Black and white, he had a few scenes and spoke quite a bit too, Mike is pretty eloquant
