I was watching Nico and this is what I noticed about some fight scenes.
1. Fight Scene in the dojo: A guy for for a middle kick, a face punch then gets clothes-lined. If I was fighting a taller man, I would of gone for the shin kick and flurries of punches. The guy does the same thing again and gets clothes-lined.
Second guy goes for a big face front kick and gets thrown off balance with ease.
2. The fight in the ally way: Complete tosh. Guy with the base ball bat should of hit Segal.
Conclusion: Aikido is not all that. Segal is measuring distance and trying to catch a part of the arm (wrist, elbow, forearm, hand). Thats dangerous in a real-life fight against people with swords, bats and fast fists.
What does the people think?
