Roach blasts Floyd senior:has been approached over training Oscar...

Roach said Oscar had asked him about the PBF fight although he says Oscar also asked him about a few other fights and Roach was not sure if Oscar was serious.

He says Floyd senior never did anything to develop either Floyd jnr or Oscar(I agree with him on Oscar)

“Exactly who did he ever train?” Roach said. “Oscar was already a finished product when Floyd got him, and the whole time Floyd Jr. was developing as a boxer, his Uncle Roger (Mayweather) trained him because Floyd was in jail.”

I still think Mosley would be the best bet but Oscar knows best.He should definitely spar with Mosley though.

I was just talking about this with a buddy of mine yesterday,,,,Not the part about Roach being approached but about Mayweather Sr as a trainer and what has he really done?....IMO if the rumor about Jack Mosley is true I would go with him if I was DLH....Jack is a smart guy who is good at looking for weakness to point out in fighters....I also agree with sparring with Mosley..It will help him prepare for flurrys....

You know when you think of it Golden Boy Promotions is like its own little empire....They have top trainers associated with it's fighters....Top sparring available because everyone of the top guys there is able to help the other adjust to some one elses style...They all have a different styles and have used it to become multi time Worl champions....In truth they don't need to go outside the circle for anything?

Agreed definately.. When it comes to oscar and the top stars in gbp they pretty much have it made..
I mean.. Oscar cant really fail when it comes to having problems..

I like gbp ..I feel the sport is safe when you have honourable people looking after some of todays great fighters..
And also i like the way it seems to be going for the company.. Looks to be all good..

I hope more big names (and small named talents) keep going with them. So far oscar seems to have no problem throwing his big named fighters in the ring together, what mre can you want? there will be none of this priceing your self out crap if the are all with GBP

i honestly in my opininon! think that mosely is a horrible coach he tells fighters to do what there already doing right and soon as they get in trouble he panics
