Well it's not as if Calzaghe and Hatton aren't the logical picks for 140 and 168.... Who else would you have there? Other then that, Casamayor is the best lightweight, and Hopkins is the top fighter at 175.

I'm not saying they are crazy picks. I also have a hard time picking anyone above Hatton, even though i'm far from impressed with him.
At 168 I personally have Kessler above Calzaghe. But i can certainly understand why most ppl would still pick Calzaghe.
Hope that'll change over the coming year though.

The pick that has british spelled all over is Woods at Light Heavy. I would definitely rate Adamek above Woods and i don't think Woods would be top-3. Perhaps not even top 5.

yeah calzaghe will move up to lhw to fight hopkins... lol couldn't resist

Er, i don't really agree with enzo or woods being the best at lhw and CW; but it would be hard for a british fan not to put them, when we have never seen an o'neil bell fight to judge him, hell alot fo americans never seen him fight... LHW is totaly up in the air right now, and again very few of them are shown unless its of woods... with hopkins retiring and coming back i can understand why he might of puts woods there...

This is mainly why i never like doing these lists; Lots of good fighters from other countrys that never get shown here so to hard to judge... hope that explains it a bit for you mate

Hadn't even thought of Maccarinelli being british

Anyway it's all fine -We're all entitled to our different opinions.

Think it was just the bold "true champions" statement that put me off.

I would agree with all of it except maybe Hatton, the cruiserweight, and definitely wouldn't agree with Clinton Woods

Hmmm. What's wrong with italians that makes them NOT avoid settling in Wales?
I can understand their need to take up boxing afterwards to let go of some agressions.
