Right so its time to adress the topic of hatton urango..
The facts are..Im english..A hatton fan and proud.. and i disagree with some of the statements made against hatton's performance and some of the lesser known posters opinions...
First off the talk is.. Hatton looked bad from quote.. The fifth round onwards by a fair few posters standards.. and aparently it was a hugfest from then on.. so heres my opinion on the fight...
First off..I didnt detect a drop in the pace till around about the 8th..And that wasnt a total drop thats when he began to slow..
And he seemed to drop to as low as he was going to go with his pressure from the ninth onwards..
I frankly think ricky did an incredibly job of boxing juan in the first half of the fight.. Alot of side to side movement and snuck the left hook in brilliantly and constantly..
Alot of people said that urango had the fifth..And i'll admit that he was the more effective puncher in that round and most of his output was power punches mostly to the body..But even still he wasnt incredibly busy..
I disagree at some peoples claims that hatton slowed down and clinched as early as the firth and sixth..
And i felt that when he did start to clinch fairly often that i could allow it since he wasnt clinchin for prolonged periods of time and was getting out of the clinch with body punches..
Anyone who thought that was a true clinchfest has blatently never seen felix trinidad-hector camacho
lol..
Frankly i think something was wrong in the later rounds..I heard billy graham saying some wild things to ricky in the corner after the later rounds..Something like fuck winning these last rounds just get through..And something like just stay in there and last these rounds..
I wonder has anything been said about what caused ricky to slow down late?
But also i cant hold the late rounds against ricky since it was obvious he was lasting in there and cruising through anything urango could give him..And he was having some sort of problems and he fought a smart enough fight...
Has there been any news from hatton regarding the late rounds?
Get at me?!
