Yes it was his round. Looked like a good fight. I think 100% sure that Valuev would have outlasted him, but still - rematch.

The thing about Valuev he looks like he is always about to open up and throw punches, but he never does... He just meanders at his lethargic pace.

    Valuev won all 3 rounds
    The first 2 easily..
Dominated with the jab AND straight right.
Jameel looked scared afterthe FIRST punch Valuev landed.
McCline did land a nice 3 punch combo in the 3rd finishing with a good clean left hook.....result? nothing....not even a flinch by Valuev
later in the 3rd Valuev landed a FIVE! punch combo!
    3rd round was close ....
Watch the fight again....do a punch count..
ANYONE who thijnks McCline was winning that fight I dare you to do a punch count...jabs and power punches...
I'd love to see the results..
Heres some pics of Valuev's Jab landing cleanly and the result of a good clean straight (ish) right hand.
NOTE. imagine this right hand moved up one inch from 6'6" to land squarely on the side of the melon of a 6'7" Vitali or down one inch for 6'5" wlad.

Eh... McCline is a scaredy cat and an underachiever, its too bad he hurt his knee, but I doubt he was gonna win the fight.
I got a question for you guys though. What is the deal with most to all European fighters wearing those "Top Ten" gloves. Is that an independent boxing company out of Europe? I never see in fighters in the U.S. using those gloves. Anyone know much about em?
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

shame he got hurt, from what I watched on youtube it looked like it was going to become a competetive and intriguing fight. Valuev started strong but McCline was started to find his range and hit the giant towards the end of round 3, something Valuev's previous opponents were all too small/shit to manage. Rematch.

Never does?! Ok watch his 45 fights - ask Barrett if he never does - he controlled the fight, nice jab, - its all about letting the opponents melt away climbing the mountain...

im not certain mate, i aint heard of them or noticed them until you brought them up. Most likely an eastern european company who throw these 'big' european names some cash to use them to advetise

I just gave a simple synopsis of the fight.
I'm sorry that my humour goes over your head. I'll try to dumb down my posts for you in the future.

    For the record:
the loss in the Valuev fight certainly did destroy McClines hopes for a title belt or challenge in the near future.
In that regard I'm sure McCline was devastated by the outcome
The final result of the fight was a KO (technical) in the third round

    Did I stutter?

since Valuev was the only other guy in the ring with McCline I don't know who else to discuss with regard to who was successful or who was a victor..or who was responsible for the outcome. I don't think they give title belts to Ludy luck,Father Time or Karma
