that old chestnut nearly 4 years on. hes beginning to sound like a broken record. it certainly wasnt the ring lights that destroyed his face. he lost the fight legitimately (no headbutts) simple as that! I still dont understand all the fuss.

maybe ken buchanan should call out roberto duran after the late punch in their title fight eh

Its funny because Lennox looked really bad that fight, and he was comming back with a vengeance as the fight was progressing, and IMO I can't see Vitali continuing to take those rights the whole fight. I have never been convinced he had the jaw of Tua or Mercer... after all he is related to Wladimir.

.....it's hard to "just get over" a fight that was ripped out of his hands by the cut and then the promised rematch that never happened....he has that driving him and I feel bad for whoever gets in his way.

Fighters have memories like elephants.....they remember the littlest slights and the most insignificant events if they perceived any kind of disrespect.

All I can say is get off Vitali's ass....so he wants a rematch with Lewis so fucking what he's entitled to say what he wants. Vitali lost the fight but he feels like it was like Ali-Quarry I where he had a chance to win if it weren't for the cut and honestly A LOT of people agree with him.

And Landmine yeah Vitali was bloody but what does it say about a guy who took that damage and never quit vs a great champion like Lennox Lewis?


Show some respect when you talk about one of the best heavyweight fights of the last decade! Both those guys put their hearts out there and showed people what heavyweight boxing was all about and a freak accident caused the stop of the fight.

And when I say "the cut" I'm talking about the one on his eyelid and not the one on his cheek....that was all Lennox right there.
