It's also a big chance to reestablish himself totally in the division.... IMO it shows alot of balls by the Cotto camp to take this fight. Alot of people will dismiss Judah and his chances, but in reality he's certainly one of the more dangerous fighters Cotto could face.. Although I do think people don't realize that Cotto vs Judah will bring in alot more $$ than if he were to fight Margarito, or WIlliams.. Alot of people on this forum think very little of Judah but the fact is he is a name, which Margarito really is not. I have friends who really know very little about boxing, but they know who Judah is, I think if anything his name is underrated. Ppl who don't think Cotto wouldn't prove anything by beating Judah are being silly imo, because those same people will praise Miguel if he wins impressivly. It's also great matchmaking by Judah's camp, I am fairly surprised that he got this fight, because he is coming off 2 losses. You'd think that the high risk low reward would apply here. But, at the same time, that's probably one of the reasons Cotto took the fight.. Because real boxing fans know that it's high risk , and to some low reward, so therefore it's the kind of fight a guy gets alot of credit for taking... Regarless what ppl think about Zab.
Ok granted, Judah has become a standing joke on the forum, but I actually do give him some credit, he does have a name, he does have a lot of talent, and he sure as hell doesn't duck anyone. I won't mention all his weaknesses this time, and his obvious personality disfunctions, I'll leave it at that. (Must.... drag... myself... away... from... keyboard, diplomacy... is.... a.... good.. thing..)

Thanks for the news.
Underestimate Judah at your own peril Miguel Cotto, he will be more than a handful.
Judah has everything to gain by this and really nothing to lose, his career is in the toilet now so another loss won't make a scrap of differance. A very dangerous fight for Cotto.
This one shall be called "The Battle of the Suspect Chins"Originally Posted by glennf

I'd give him a live chance in this one.
Zab does get dissed a lot around here. And to an extent its understandable considering some of the pranks he pulls, but he shouldnt be underestimated. He won more rounds against Mayweather than anyone else in ages, has handspeed and power. This is Cotto's real move into the big time, and its a fight that really can go either way. Im undecided on this one at this point...Originally Posted by bilbo
"Battle of the suspect chins" yep, i would agree with that. Still it will be interesting to see if Judah has one last good fight in him. I like him in this one though, he has speed and power and he will hit Cotto with something that's for sure. A big test for Cotto's chin.
its a pick em for me. but i cant see it goin the 12. judah is an arsehole but he is also underrated and a dangerous fight for cotto to take. and as for cotto, he is very dangerous for judah but with respect to zab he has never really avoided fighting the best.
will be good though. with hatton vs castillo a few weeks later june is looking very good![]()
The funny thing about Zab is i try very hard to like him but something always gets in the way of that happening. Yeah he is an asshole and has deserved all the crap that has come his way, yet he is never dull and he keeps our interest going. I think he is extremely talented and wish he would give us that one great fight that we all know he is capable of.
Thats exactly how I feel about himOriginally Posted by glennf
. The closest he has come to fulfilling that talent you talk so well about IMO is the Micky Ward fight, or Spinks II, or the odd patch vs mayweather.
