Holyfield was great at cruiser, but many thought he would be too small and fade in the heavies.
I guess being named the ESPN boxer of the decade (1990's as a heavywieght) wraps that up.
Any others![]()

As for your question, crap! Uuummm!!
I'm gonna say Javier Castillejo, I mean who would have thought he'd capture the WBA Middleweight title by beating the younger and probably stronger Sturm years later after loosing to ODLH or loosing in one of the most boring fights vs. Vargas.... I know I didn't soooooo.....
Anyway!! Enjoy your stay here and have fun......
Right on Liquid, Tarver will always be remembered for not only "calling out RJJ" about excuses, but just for backing that Shnit up with that cold cocked KO. It was beautiful...and I liked RJJ back then. But damn, that was a thing of beauty, and he backed it up again in the rematch.
We just need him to step up again. He got served by Bernard. Now Bernard has to be on this "small time to big time list". He worked it the hard way, without getting Don King/BobArum rips or pub. Now that's coming up the hard way, slow as molasses, but it was sweet for him towards the end because....."He did it his way"...
Wladimir Klitsko, I thought his career was done after back to back KO's. Now everybody thinks he is the king of the heavyweight division.
I never really thought I'd hear from MAB as a major player again after Junior Jones...in retrospect that was pretty stupid
Most bad government has grown out of too much government. Thomas Jefferson
Juan Manuel Marquez, I thought he was a choke artist, but he proved me wrong. The guy has just had some bad luck.
As silly as it seems, when Cooper put him on his arse nobody gave him a shout against Liston I forget the odds. That night at Wembley nobody thought they were looking at the best Heavy ever to grace a Boxing ring, Funny old game.
