Cotto will get hit, and he might even get hurt while walking Cotto down but I think it's almost a certainty he catches Judah and Judah just can't take a punch. Cotto KO is the popular pick but I think Judah puts on his track shoes.
Williams to Decision Margarito
As much talking as I've done, I would be stupid to pick Margarito. But it's a lot more of a pick em now I think. Why in the hell does Paul hold his hands so low? I still think he will be able to slip most of the long punches of Margarito. The thing that worries me is those little rangy uppercuts, I can see him getting caught by a lot of those. I also think though that Williams will be the more active fighter and I want to see how Tony handles a constant jab in his face. Unless Williams is scared, which I doubt he is, then I like him to win the fight. He's not accurate nor powerful enough to KO Margarito though.
Nicolay Valuev over Ruslan Chagaev
I think I've seen Chagaev against Sinal Sam. And even so, I don't remember the fight well. Valuev just because.
Joe Calzaghe UD Peter Manfredo Jr.
Honestly, do I have to explain this one?
Floyd Mayweather UD Oscar De La Hoya
This one is probably getting closer in my head the more the fight draws near. But the common sense in me says that I'm going to be here May 6 thinking why the hell did I pick Oscar to make it close. Oscar is dependant on the left hook. A left handed orthodox fighter, his career has really took on a major transformation in terms of what his best punches are. Early in his career his best weapon was the right hand. Now he mostly works with left hook. He almost always leads with it now, and he throws it flatfooted. Floyd avoids the lead punch better then anybody and he'll be in and out on Oscar all night imo. Oscar better hope he can time Oscar coming in or out or he is in trouble. Mayweather wins by 5 or 6 points.
Kelly Pavlik KO Edison Miranda
He has the tools to beat Miranda, and it could very well happen. But to do it he needs to stand his ground, sneak that left hook in on Miranda, follow up and then circle around. Or do something to that extent. A lot of people say that you beat Miranda by keeping him outside, well I don't totally agree. He has a very tight defense on the outside, it's basically a shell it's when he is moving in and looking to make something happen where his defense opens up and that's where Pavlik is going to have to do his work. And his arsenal of punches seem to be made for a guy like Miranda but there is always that X factor of a huge Colombian power house coming at you and whether or not you can keep your poise. If he can, it very well could be a frustrating night for Miranda. I'll probably flipflop on this one a few time. A Pick em fight.
Pac KO Solis
From what I've read Solis is an inactive counter puncher. I don't care what Roach says. This isn't a hard one to pick.
