Default NSAC Changes Diaz-Gomi Ruling From PRIDE To 'No Contest'

    AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA

they said he had such high levels of THC that it 'numbed the pain'

from what i remember its worse to get hit in the head when you real fuckin high, i havent smoked like that in a year but i remember it making getting hit worse, still i agree that he didnt deserve a win for gomi putting himself into a submission

Alamo went on to say, "Mr. Diaz was 175. This creates a unique situation. I was there at this fight and believe that you were intoxicated and... that it made you numb to the pain. Did it help you win? I think it did."

If Gomi was a better fighter he wouldn't have put himself in that position. That is only the second time in MMA hist that the gogoplata has been used successfully. Nick deserves huge kudos for not only a great fight but pulling off a fantastic sub.

Diaz may have had his win taken away but the NSAC can not take away the repect he earned from that fight from MMA fans

Couldn't have put it better myself.

That aside, the ruling is bullshit. Suspension for weed? Sure...it's an illegal substance. But to change the ruling of the fight? That's horseshit.
Boxing is like a handjob, and MMA is like a hot sweaty orgy with 5 chicks. I could never say no to a handjob, but which would you rather have?

i agree that weed has no performance enhancing ablities but theyre trying to say he DID get an unfair advantage from having smoked, theyre not just making it a loss cuz it was in his system as much as they are trying to make a case that it actually effected the fight somehow
