Default Bottom line... Can Oscar cut the ring off?

We all know no matter what PBF says about it being a "Blood, sweat and tears fight" (he used that line before the Baldomir fight)he is going to run and try to pick DLH apart so this really comes down to the fact that Oscar needs to smother PBF and make it a brawl. Who honestly thinks this will happen?

What makes you think he's gonna run?
He fought cautiously against Baldomir probably securing that Oscar paycheck.
He didn't take chances in a fight he didn't need to.
But other than that, when has Floyd ran? What makes Floyd running such a given?
Just because Floyd doesn't get hit, it doesn't mean he's running.
He's not gonna run. He's not gonna stand toe to toe and throw unguarded either. He's not a moron.
Oscar got the ring and gloves he wanted.
If Floyd's plan was to run, I would assume he would've fought to get some control over these stipulations.
He's gonna wanna put on a performance.
Baldomir was not a global stage.
In Floyd's biggest showcase fights, he always puts on a show.
    This will be no different.
Why refer to the Baldomir fight to suggest what he'll do tonight?
I like to refer to his other big showcase fights instead. This is it, baby.

I refer to Baldomir because this was a bigger stronger opponent (ie Oscar) he has recently fought his gameplan vs a bigger stornger fighter is to come in land 1 maybe 2 shots then retreat circle (run)then do it again this makes for an extreamely boring and unwatchable fight ask the crowd that saw that snoozefest most of them left in the 9th round.

Or ask Mayweather who lied and promised the fans a "Blood ,sweat and tears" fight and delivered a "snooze sleep and snor" fight boxing needs Leonard vs Hearns but i doubt it will get that following Floyds track record

How can you not factor in Floyd's desire to put on a spectacular performance in his showcase fights?
What were his three biggest showcase fights so far?
First title shot against Hernandez, fight against Corrales which had most observers split on who'd win it, and Gatti. And he came up huge in those victories.
I know Oscar is beyond those men in size and skill, but Floyd went into those fights consciously wanting to look good. Baldomir wasn't a showcase fight. Most people were pretty apathetic towards the fight even when it was announced.
Remember how distraught he was in the postfight after Baldomir at how the crowd and critics booed him for his performance?
If you have followed Floyd as closely as I have, you'll know about his desire to look good in showcase fights.
I can't see how anyone can throw out everything Floyd's done and base their assumptions 100% on what he did against Baldomir.
He is NOT gonna run from Oscar. Bet your house on it.

if he retires tonight i cant see him being remembered as a true great. I dont like the guy but i respect him. one fight doesnt make a legacy. I hoped DLH would win but always thought PBF would win. But it doesnt realy but him as a true great, being english....let him go toe to toe against our Ricky lol!
