I went to a western history symposium about 10 yrs. ago in Dodge City, Kansas. We went to dinner and somebody ordered a platter of calf fries which are deep fried cow testicles. I had quite a bit to drink so I tried one. Apparently they are a popular appetizer.

It makes you feel kind of cavemanish eating those sorts of things.. Nothing wrong with that though

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. Im not going to lecture a society on what they eat, but I could never eat "bosin tang". Its very popular in summer because apparently its good for stamina and virility!

I was in a bar one time and the side dish they served up was a plate of fried grasshoppers. Its needless to say that I didnt eat any!
