interesting take on warming Lyle. My personal belief is that we ARE fanning thw flames of warming, but you're right, the eath HAS experienced episodes of warming AND colling, even when we weren't around. In fact, even if we are contributing to the warming trend, it is scientifically proven that warming episodes such as this have preceeded a dramatic cooling event. So even though we MIGHT be warming the climate, we COULD be bringing about a major cool, even an ice age.

Regardless of what we are or aren't doing, we DO have to do more to protect the earth from ourselves.... ie, lower emissions, waste into rivers etc. or we WILL experience the negative consequences, some of which generally associated with warming.

I don't doubt that the earth is warming, I also don't doubt that humans have an affect on the environment.....HOWEVER I think our affect on the environment is not as great as ooooohhhhh let's say


ORBITAL FORCING.....and no I don't mean skull fucking....I mean the Earth's orbit changes enough to cause climate to change a bit.

Can't believe people still think global warming is a myth The Earth does have patterns of heating and cooling, but it's pretty well proven that we aren't in that same pattern anymore. And the US is mostly blame for it too.
