Mundine should take it and see how good he is. A close loss would still do his reputation good. He is faster than Joe, and i dunno if Joe would have faced many that are? This is his big chance to really make a name for himself.
I mean if Mundine loses he can still make big money fighting in oz.
If he wins he is straight away one of the biggest stars in boxing.

How can Calzaghe and Warren be offering $2 million then saying there willing to travel?? I cant see how this is true, Mundine is known by absolutly no one in the world, only Boxing purists, Manfredo was paid around $700k and he was a very well known guy.

Mundine is a better fighter than Manfredo and much more popular. He drew 30,000 people to see the Green fight and 15,000 to see Soliman. I reckon he would want $5m to fight Joe. That's the sort ofg money he's been making for world title fights. Don't forget he is a two-time world champ even though he has never actually beaten a titleholder.

Well, I guess it's better than a fight with Denis Inkin, and with a title at stake, it makes it a little interesting for Joe, but I would prefer to see Kessler or Taylor, but with both of those appearing as 50-50, i don't mind warren planning this as a back up. The problem is is this is not one that will do anything for Joe's legacy, and with only a few fights left they need to be the right ones!

I thought that Warren said in interview that 6 months ago they made the offer to Mundine, but he turned it down saying that he didn't want to travel and fight away from Australia.

Do your research. Mundine is household name in australia. Made 5 illion plus for his fight against Green, and nearly that much to fight Soliman. More people in Oz watched Mundine Green, than DLH PBF.
Dont even compare Mundine to Manfredo he is twice the fighter.
