After Joel Casamayor beat WBC lightweight champ Diego Corrales , the WBC took the newly won belt off Casamayor and gave it to David Diaz. The WBC then made Casamayor the Interim Champion.
I would love to hear someone defend this.

The WBC seems to have a habit of finding ways to strip guys they do not like someway or another....and never with merit
