it isn't working![]()
Could you elaborate please?
it won't play on any programs like windows media player, divx player, quicktime player. so i search nsv on google and find out that winamp should work. downloaded winamp and played it and only get sound. so i then download another media player called vlc media player that is meant to play nsv files and only get sound againOriginally Posted by El Gamo
NSV FILES ONLY PLAY ON WINAMP.Follow this...
Try this to get the codec to play the NSV file...if the links don't work now try them again later OR download the just posted links(above)......
Instructions for updating Winamp to the new 264 nsv decoder:
1. Download and install the new, X264 decoder using FFDSHOW codec-pack:
http://www.profibox.hu/shared/ffdsho...se-x264.nl.exe
2. Download and copy the nsvdec_x264.dll named file in the Program Files\Winamp\plugins folder:
ftp://ftp.profibox.hu/usr/profibox/p...svdec_x264.dll
3. Configure the FFDSHOW (newly installed program)
- from the START menu of Windows, you need to find the codec config file (Something like: Start/Programs/ffdshow/VFW Codec configuration)
- Click the "Decoder" tab at the top
- Make sure you have 'Codecs' selected in the left
- From the list look for H.264 and right click on it
- Click "Set all stable formats to libavcodec"
- Press "APPLY" than "OK"
- Restart Winamp and you're ready to watch the fights
Any one who can give me a working link to nsvdec_x264.dll gets a CC... no sloppy copy and paste jobs!![]()
Just because you cannot get it to work does not mean it's a "sloppy copy and paste job". Nearly everyone else who has used it has managed to make it work, and the links work fine, may be you should try reading it properly, following the instructions carefully before you start labelling it "sloppy".Originally Posted by AdamGB

it didn't work for me mate either and i went through the intrustions the exact way you labelled themOriginally Posted by El Gamo
he obviously thinks he's talking to some one who knows nothing about codecs...
I don't need instructions, just the one file.
the ftp site doesn't work. I've seen the same links on other forums, for other fights from months ago. Common sense suggests that it's been down for a while?
Regardless of where you have seen the links,if I just clicked the link and said it works, what fwocking common sense are you using? I didn't say you didn't know anything about codecs but you can't seem to get this to work?Originally Posted by AdamGB

DS91,what isn't working? I can't help you if you don't elaborate. The link don't work? You can't find the folder? What is it?
the link probably works for you because you'll still have the file in a cache some where.
I gave up looking after 3 pages of google all came up with dead links...![]()
Well the foreign site just posted what I posted an all their members say the links still work![]()
