Joel Julio fights K9 Bundrage July 11

This should make for an interesting ESPN matchup. I know El Gamo was sucking on Julio's ballbags a while ago but never really rated him myself.

This fight should catipault the winner right into the limelight but the loser won't have much place else to go after this so a good and important crossroads fight for both.

I actually think he's got a good chance of causing an upset in this one. Julio has looked pretty one dimensional of late and doesn't seem to be able to adapt to difficult circumstances in the ring.

K9 certainly is one awkward fighter to be up against, he's incredibly Hattonesque with his clinching, headbutts, elbows and fouls.

It will be an ugly fight and that may well favour Bundrage.

He may not get the decision but I have a feeling this one is going to the cards.

Yeah, I saw that Julio was fighting in Hollywood, is this at the Avalon? Ill go check it out if it is. Im pullin for K-9 in this one thats my dawg. Should be a great scrap. It is going to be on ESPN I saw him scheduled with a TBA opponent.

He had an opponent backing up the whole fight taking combinations on the ropes and shaking his head. I don't think he was tested enough to see if he's improved.

He had his jab was working well, good movement & nice combo's. I know his opponent wasn't an elite fighter but looking back at his performance against Rivera I see some major improvements!

Julio has been fighting so-so guys this is definately a step up from his last few fights. You guys are gonna be surprised by K-9, the kid has got pop, Im predicting he wins by k.o.

Ya gotta love it when fights like this get made outta the blue. This is a great match for both guys. Bundrage is a real good guy, and he's got heart, just gets tired late, I think possibly because he's so musclebound, and he loads up on his punches a lot. Likes to clinch too. Long as he doesn't get over anxious like he did in his crazy loss to Powell a few years back, and stays on the inside, he's got a real shot at outworkin Julio and beatin him, maybe even stoppin him. Julio hits fuckin HARD though, so he could just as easy blast K-9 outta there early. Gonna be a good fight.

One thing I notice in Julio's last fight was that he actually jabbed. His previous fight he didnt use it hardly enough. This last one he was using the jab to get in, and it obviously improved. It sucks when you like both fighters in a fight. K-9 will pull it off, he's improving alot too, he looked good against Colin McNeil on the contender.
