Default The "Ding-A-Ling-Man"'s starching of Nwodo should be ko of the year!

Going into the eleventh round, the game Nwodo came out willing and winging, but once again was staggered by the heavy handed Wilson who hits like he has embalming fluid in each fist. The Nigerian champion quickly found himself the prey in a track and execute type of situation. The tracking ended on the ropes as the “Ding-A-Ling Man” trapped Nwodo and missed with a whistling right but followed up with as savage a left hook as you will ever see. The punch landed with full force, leverage and CRUNCHING impact knocking Nwodo cold. Without a doubt, it SHOULD be the Knockout of the Year. Heck, I would dread witnessing anything worse.

yeah it was a great fight, the two hardest punchers in the division. That was a brutal ko and both guys stood up to some monstrous punches.

It was awesome, that ko scared me. You know its good when your a little scared for the guy. I dont know what crack was louder, the left hook to the jawbone, or him crumbling to the canvas...both were loud as fuck!!! Just imagine if there were no ropes. Earlier in the fight did you see that body shot Wilson landed? You'll know it if you did, it knocked Nwodo halfway across the ring.

I think Wilson is my new favorite cruiserweight, hes got a great chin and great power. Always fun to watch. He definately needs to work on boxing skills he relys to much on countering. He gets outworked easily, and seems to be in slow motion some times. But when he pours it on its a thing of beauty.....and hes got a great nickname

The years not over, it's only July bro.

It was a devastaing KO & is IMO the front runner from what I've seen. But there's still almost half the year left. I'll hold off on passing the crown just yet.

    No doubt... KOTY!
I want to see him against Bell for the next chance at Mormeck.

A good runner up, though, was Humberto Soto's Matrix like right-hand with the single follow up left hook to the liver against Bobby Pacquiao. Is it too early to start polling different KO's ?

Yeah but hos technique is pretty bad, I think Teddy was pointing out how bad he was looking when the other guy decided to box, he was wild, and looked very sloppy. I think he'll be outboxed again, but he'll always be fun to watch, but that will only get him so far

I didn't find it exciting until Ding-A-Ling landed that leaping left hook the round before he finished it. Once I knew one of them could be hurt it got a little more interesting. That hook was huge.

After a KO like that, I wouldn't be surprised if Nwodo found a quieter, gentler line of work. Librarian, maybe?

That's what's known as a career ender. I believe his eye socket may have been damaged. If so, its serious. It ended Danny Romero's career for all practical purposes.
