Sorry Killer, I didn't see this earlier or I would've attempted to do one.
Molitor looked good, especially early. He showed good elusiveness, had great footwork, and very fast hands augmented by good combinations. His opponent, Takalani Ndlovu, was decent, put along of pressure on Molitar (who was backpeddling for most of the fight), but in some ways he played right into Molitar's hands, allowing the Canadian to counter-punch effectively. Molitor worked the body really well, hurting Ndlovu a couple of times, though not badly.
Molitor caught Ndlovu with a short right hook as he came in early in the 9th round, dropping him and hurting him badly. Ndlovu got up and tried to tie up Molitor and survive, but he was dropped two more times and Molitor unloaded on him, prompting the ref to stop the fight.
Looking forward to watching this, big fan of Molitor. Him and Bernard Dunne next year is going to be a war!Originally Posted by CFH
Molitor looked very good, but at times in the fight he was far too inactive, letting his opponent dictate the pace. He hardly was hit at all, but Ndlovu hit him with a few clean right hands that didn't seem to bother Molitor too much.
Molitor does definately lack one punch power, and he doesn't punch enough at times, preferring to concentrate on defense (not that surprising with a counter-puncher), but he seems to be quite adept at catching fighters with punches they don't see coming, and hurting them that way. But that being said, he looked damn good tonight.
Cheers for this, great job done by Molitor it seems despite all the promotional trouble he made a fan of me when he came to England and smashed home town boy Michael Hunter, he was such a nice kid in victory in Hunter;s hometown infront of all his fans, he's a great southpaw technician and sees everything coming, smooth action and a great counterpunch style. He's one to watch, fingers crossed he can get on TV in the fights he deserves.Originally Posted by CFH

I didn't remember to mention that, you're right, its probably his biggest strength. He has great anticipation.Originally Posted by 'Big' Dan McCarthy
It's the least talked about tool in a boxers arsenal, people tend to say great defence but its not just a defensive tool, anticipation is 9 tenths of landing shots for the real technicians.Originally Posted by CFH

CC CFH Molitor is one of my Canadian fighters, a real talent it seems so far.
Maybe he can reach a deal with HBO and they can then dictate his career and
take his first born soon!!
