    Default Training Help

    Hi All

I have just signed up today and need a little help.

I have just turned 33 and wish to do an amature season before its to late. I am about 16 stone and have trained on and off without success for a few years due to working in the leisure industry and working unsociable hours.

I am now in a position to train to the max.

The new season starts middle of August but really want to get into shape a little before then.

Can Anyone please give me a programme to get started. ie. how often to run, what i should be doing on a boxing training day, ie. full workout programme.

Any help would be great as experience is the best advice i can receive.

    Thanks All

    Jaidon

    Firstly welcome to the forum.

Secondly what kind of time do you have available?

Be honest with this one, what kind of shape are you in?

    Hows your diet?

What is your history with boxing, have you ever had formal training?
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

    Hi again

I have trained hard for 8 months then had to stop due to working evenings.
Then have trained few times a month since.

I used to be in the gym 4 times a week until January, so am what i would say out of shape but think it will be quick to regain my fitness levels.

Again diet wet to pot in January but through work and grabbing snacky foods.

I run a sports programme with full boxing facilities so i do have the facility to train all day every day, so in an ideal position.

Any info would be excellent but i will also look at training logs.

    Thanks all
