Default Victor Oganov(26-0, 26 KOs) to face first real test.

He will be fighting Fulgencio Zuniga (19-2-1, 16 KOs), the guy who floored Kelly Pavlik in their fight. Has anyone seen Oganov? Is he just a crude guy with power?

Apparently EVERY single fight he's won, amateur or pro, he's won by KO.

Of course, I remember Courage Tshabalala had a similar record and he went south sharpish once the opposition level got better.

    .
He hasnt got perfect technique but i wouldnt call him crude great power tho obviously. He was meant to fight antwun echols, and Sam Soliman but both fights fell thru. Zuniga looks a good match up.

I've seen 3 fights of Oganov and hes looked good but you also gotta look at the quality of opposition.
He'll blast Fulengcio out in about 2 rounds.

For the record Showtime will be showing this fight.

I agree. Organov is much bigger than Zuniga

Ive seen some of his fights -
he is very strong / crude / lacks snap in his punches / i dont think he is sharpe enough to KO the top men , but hey will be exciting watching him try
you can catch some of his fights on youtube

I saw Oganov's last fight. He doesn't look great. Seems to rely on his power too much. He will make it to a time when he fights more talented guys and will struggle. As Dark Lord Al said though it will be exciting watching him try.

If the guy has even reasonable technique and throws fairly straight punches he should destroy Zuniga. In hindsight I'm actually surprised how long it took Pavlik to do it. Zuniga's such a crude fighter, all those wild, winging punches. He is pretty tough and akward but not much else.

Well Pavlik is an awesome power puncher so I don't see Zuniga getting ko'ed in 2 by Oganov. Does he have 1 punch power or more accumulation? Are they wide wild punches or short and crisp?
