Would anyone happen to know what specific style he fights with? Its kind of a hands held high guard, so he can parry punches with ease, and there is alot of head movement involved. There is a boxer at my gym who fights and moves the same as Jirov. He somewhat moves like a fencer. A fencer that could slug your head off. So it got me kind of intrigued..![]()
I know there are all kinds of styles like crossarmed, and hitman and all those. But i couldnt quite fit this style of boxing into any category. Since i know some of you guys on here are trainers, I was wondering if you guys had any insight on this particular style. Seen it used before or maybe you even trained boxers that have utilized it.

Heres footage of 'the Tiger' sparring.
Is this style taught to fighters? If so, how is it effectively used and what do you think are the pros and cons?
P.S. the boxer at my gym even does the same exact 'tap on the forehead' with the lead hand movement that Jirov does! Its sucha trip. Their movement is almost identical. Im starting to wonder if the guy from my gym is TRYING to imitate Jirov.
