Default HCF sign younger Emilianenko and Little Nog

I don't really know much about this organisation to be honest. Didn't the UFC show interest in Aleksander or Nog?

Well the UFC is pretty full as far as relevant LHW so I can see not aggresively pursuing Lil Nog...Alexander would be a great addition to their HW lineup and I'm dissapointed they didn't get him...His style is exactly what American fans want...UFC's weakest div is MW so putting Filho in WEC and not getting Kang didn't make alot of sense to me..I think eventually as UFC expands and its current stable of fighters plays out you will see some of these guys start to gravitate back...People like Lil Nog, Lawler, Diaz, Sokoudju, Kang, Filho, Barnett, Emelianko Bros and Gomi will eventually end up fighting in the Octagon if they continue to win. I know Sal hates Dana and the UFC and is happy when these guys don't sign, but I just want to see the best fights. Unfortunately UFC has only so much money/events/time to push the fighters it allready has. I'd like to see it continue its Ultimate Fighter to introduce young raw talent as well as a monthly Ultimate Fight Night for its mid tier fights as well as a monthly PPV with 5-6 top tier fights. That way we could have more continuity and variety. WEC is doing an awesome job of pushing the smaller weight classes. Faber and Condit are alot of fun to watch if you haven't seen them

u know, 1 thing that puzzles me...

now that the UFC owns pride theyve started making copyrigfht claims to all the pride videos on youtube and having them removed...

i think thats a horrible idea, as now someone who thinks that forrest griffin is #1 P4P cannot search for videos of shogun, where if they had left them they would have jizzed thier pants and said 'OH FUCK, HE BEAT THE GUY WHO BEAT LIDELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JIZZZ JIZZZZ !!!!!!!!!"''

dana white has ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA how to introduce these guys into the UFC

i truly believe now that he has a bigger ego then vince mchahon, and will do anything to make his guys look like they were better then the guys he got from pride

all of a sudden now nogueria has to fight again before he gets his title shot!?!?!?

and shogun has to start against possibly the worst guy in the UFC?

I personally HATE organizations. Why must a fighter be tied to one? Like Van said, you can only have so many guys fight in so many events. If it was a free enterprise system, with fight cards and matches being made by promoters, then we'd see lots of great fights. Orgs limit potentially great match-ups.

Sal I think Forrest as Rua's first opponent is a great idea...As much as it pisses you off most of UFC's fans don't know who shogun is or if they do they don't realize he is top P4P. And of course as much as it pisses you off many of UFC's fans see Griffin as a legit top LHW....So its a win win for UFC...Griffin will stand with Shogun so we don't have to worry about a boring chess match on the mat. Forrest will make Rua look awesome by standing and trading. Shogun gets a electrifying win over a fighter that many UFC fans percieve as a top guy..and even if forrest some how pulls off the upset well then Dana has one of his fan favorites beating a great Pride figher

    Van,

Couldn't agree more. I personally see it as Dana using Forrest's fan base for Rua to get noticed... and to give him what should be a wlk in the park victory. Ie, rua should easily get past him, get some attention and credibility instantly, all with the idea of getting him a title shot.

I think that's what Dana had in mind for Crocop but gonzaga spoiled the show...a quick win and one step towards the belt.
