    Default Password scam on Saddo?

Guys, sorry if this has been discussed already, but I got a weird email today, supposedly from Saddo boxing forum. It's bullshit, I think. Check it out:

    Dear Dee,

This mail was sent because the 'forgot password' function has been applied to your account. To set a new password click the following link:

    http://www.saddoboxing.com/boxing_fo...ode=d139813818

    IP: 164.44.67.4

    Username: Dee

    Regards,

    The Boxing Forum Team.
I didn't request a new pass, and I logged in successfully (obviously). Anyone else had a mail like this? And who's IP is the one above? It's certainly not mine.

The link seems genuine. I'm sure its real mate, I don't think there are many fraudsters out there interested in getting the username and password of people on a boxing forum especially someone with no posts, I mean what could they do with your information?

I get a lot of fake emails, usually from eBay, Barclays bank, Natwest etc asking me to give my account details.

Any fraudster is going to fraud something that can lead to useful information not the password or hotmail account of a boxing forum member.

Most likely you attempted to log in and failed or else someone else attempted to log in with your user name and failed.

Either could be totally innocent. I've tried many times to get into forums or websites that I've joined months before and can't remember what names I used.

OK no worries, it all makes sense now!

Indeed, I just thought it was odd. I was thinking that, if someone had my password to this forum, they'd also have the password to most other sites I visit, my email pass, etc. I know it's silly to use the same pass for everything but I can't be arsed to use a different one every time.

    The email will be fine.

Only yesterday, I received an email from my bank saying that there was a small baboon which had become trapped in the room where my bank account is. What was worse was that, in the interests of security, everyone's bank account room has an armed guard who lives in there keeping an eye on things - it seems that the guy in my room couldn't deal with the baboon because he had a heart attack.

They needed my PIN number, account and sort code to get in the room, get help for the guard and remove the baboon before he ruined all my money.

I was satisfied with this, as they clearly demonstrated that they carry out high levels of security by even having a locked room (which even the bank could not open) and also having a a guard there 24/7, so I sent them my details this morning.
