Default Wow! can anyone make out a single word she tried to sing?

Amy Whinehouse performed at the MTV European Music Awards and heres her performace...

If you can make out a single word please let me know.
Sad to see this, cause shes got soo much talent and the States love her music. Very soulful and exotic.
At one point in the song she just stops.... The girl needs help and she needs it now.
A bit disappointed as shes suppose to perform on SNL on Nov. 10th chances are she'll cancel that.

She's famous from her hit song that has a chorus "they tried to make me go to rehab.. i said, no. no. no."

yeah, she has an alright voice.. i was focusing more on the choice of lyrics, regardless of if she IS a druggie or not.

maybe it's because i'm from a musical background and see straight through the fabrication. She doesn't play her own music, and i'd be pretty surprised if she writes all of her songs. As far as respect for actual songwriters who have a good enough voice to just sing and not play their own music, there are very few people who fall into that category.

But to each his own i suppose.. i'm a fan of Janis Joplin and she doesn't have a great voice, so you may not appreciate her, but i just like the real thing.. no orchestra behind the voice... but i digress, that's a whole different topic

    I didn't know you had a musical background....Interesting.

I'm big on music and friends sa I probably have the broadest likes of music of anyone they've met.

My I-Pod has all sorts of music and it's music that I like that I can sing to and dance to. It's not just music I know was popular or music that I know stands for something. I'll be the 1st to tell you I don't such artists as Bob Dylan or Johnny Cash on my I-Pod but it's not because I don't like it but more because I haven't came across into their music.
I have music from: (to name some)
    Patsy Cline (country) - US
Jose Alfredo Jimenez (Ranchero spanish) - Mexico
    Journey (Soft rock) - US
    Ne-Yo (r&b soul) - US
    HIM (Rock) - Finland
    Kirk Franklin (Gospel) - US
Jose Feliciano (Spanish folk music) - Puerto Rico
    Eminem (Hip-Hop) - US
Bone Thugs N Harmony (Rap) -US
    The Smiths (80s) - UK
Soda Stereo (Spanish 80s) - Argentina
Tego Calderon (Spanish Hip-Hop) - Puerto Rico
    Michael Jackson - US
Celia Cruz (Cuban music/Salsa) - Cuban
    Mariah Carey (R&B) - US
La Ley (Spanish Rock) - Chile
    My Chemical Romance - US
Fito Olivares (Spanish cumbia) - Mexican
    Jordy (Dance) - French
Miguel Bose (SPanish 80's/dance) - Spain

As you can see to me if it sounds good and I see the artist and he can sing live and all that then I look into the music.
I hate these bands today who have a hit (which by todays standards that's pretty much anyone who can record audio) and then they think they've made it. Pisses me off!

RP since we're on the subject a while a go I had a discussion with someone here in regards to had the best voice of all time.
My vote goes to Steve Perry from Journey followed by Freddy Mercury and then Mariah Carey.

From todays voices I would say Chris Cornell (Audioslave) is head and shoulders above the rest.

Mick, glad you didn't take anything i said about my feelings about her not having talent the wrong way.. I've been in bands and been friends with a lot of guys in bands and dealt with labels and saw some pretty ugly things.. so i get real brutal about the real fabricated musicians where all of there fame is in the producers behind the scenes.. and they get all the fame cause they're good looking and all that jazz..

greatest voice of all time is tough.. you'd probably have to chop it up into categories.. i mean someone like Sinatra was a pioneer for that whole crooner era.. and Presley and especially Orbison who i love.. the guy could put me in a trance with his voice. Mercury is terrific, and i love Queen as a band.. Cornell is great.. i really like some Rufus Wainwright also, even though i think he's a douche.

and then you have your female vocalists who i think really blow a lot of males away with there power.. mariah carey, whitney houston, aretha franklin etc.. they're all crazy.

I listen to a wide range of stuff within the rock/punk/folk area i guess you could say.. Brand New is my favorite band (not all time) but they're getting there.. if you just heard a song or two you'd probably laugh but i've loved their stuff from the get go and i've met them a number of times and there music has inspired me ridiculously so i can do nothing else but praise them for their musical genius.. i'd reccomend them to anyone.. Other stuff i've been listening to lately.. Copeland, alkaline trio, rooney, chiodos, saves the day, just to name a few from the iPod..

Nah! RP no need for me to take offense of her.
I do like her voice and I think the musics unique and different from whats out there. She does however right her own music, as far as for the tunes I don't think she does that.

I see your point for the greatest voice you'd really have to break it up into catagories...

So you like Presley, Orbinson & Joplin well RP check this poster I have it in my play room I bought it in Venice Beach:
(If you click on the picture it will get a little bigger)

The Dean, Marilyn & Marley I had them made for me.
The Morrison one I made myself years ago.
