Default Warren :- " the winner of this fight is p4p best "?

Frank Warren today said that the winner of the Calzaghe v Kessler fight would be regarded as p4p best boxer.
Surely this is going a bit over board ?
Warren says he is not a fan of Mayweather !!!!
Calzaghe and Kessler are both top fighters but come on p4p best out there ?
Maybe Warren is trying to undermine the Hatton v Mayweather fight and big up his promotion , or hes just insane.

NOT FOR ME , NOT BY A LONG WAY.
wot do you guys think ?

I had a neighbor like Frank Warren, Insited in only making statements when drunk!!

This will decide the best Super Middleweight for sure but pound for pound? I am a fan of both Calzaghe and Kessler but neither are better then Floyd as far as pound for pound goes, A case can also be made for Marquez, Pacquiao, Vazquez etc.

I'd say winner of Hatton vs Mayweather is number 1.

    Not winner of this fight....

because when calzaghe wins the attention is likely to be focused on Kessler ebing over rated rather than Calzaghe being great.

If calzaghe wins he moves to #3 on my pound for pound list behind floyd & manny.

Who in the blue of hell has Joe beat to be in the top 2 pound for pound? He beats Kessler then he is definitely top 5 but it is too late for him ever to be considered a best p4p boxer.

Hes beaten everyone over a decade including current and former champs.
    His record speaks for itself

Is anyone watching the build up now on Setanta ? Is it me or did Joe look real clumsuy in the 1st round the way he fell in and kept pulling his trunks up and was tripping over ?

If JC beats Kessler AND B-Hop he might be able to lay claim to a spot in the top 2/3 P4P. Beating Kessler proves a hell of a lot IMO, but it won't and shouldn't make Joe the #1 P4P.

Now at the 8th round ,seeing Joe in a real fight for the first time think Joe would embarras Bernard.

Bernard Hopkins (and I'm not a fan of his really) is one of the craftiest and most intelligent boxers in the game today. Joe might beat him, but no way does B-Hop get embarrassed.

Maybe a few years ago but Bhop is old now. Im a Bhop fan and I just dont see him being competitive against Joe.

Calzaghe is just as crafty and throws three times as many punches. B-Hop would need to stop him and that wont happen. That fight will retire Hopkins. And Im a big Hopkins fan.
