Hey all, first off what a superb site for reference. Some extremely knowledgable/helpful people here have spent the last week imersing myself in the vast amount of info here, as a supplement to my own training of course.
Am 24 5'9 69kg. Ive only been boxing training now for just under 8 weeks, althoughb did train briefly hen I was 17. I was a very keen weightlifterfor several years then laterly distance runner. I religously spend 3 times a week in the gym (amateur) but I do my own CV/conditoning/plyometrics at home when Im home.
So far so good, ive made myself a slip bag, have loads of reference material and have just started the old rope across the ring head movement drill. I can skip well and ive sparred several times learning lots from each time. I dont shadow box as much as Id like but I do at least an hour a week with actual intention and aim in mind not just throwing punches in the air.
My query is aside from what im doing what basic drills would you recommend I begin, there is a vast amount on here and im a little confused to be honest.

Here is a vid of me popping single hooks taken around 6 months ago perhap a little longer. I know there is no movement or defence, it was before I was the club. I will be getting some more sparring/training vids ASAP for critique purposes.
