Just wanted to remind everyone that Jesus Soto-Karass is fighting Juan Buendia on Versus thursday. Both of these guys are in your face brawlers, this one is sure to be barn-burner.

I really like this guy. Tough,solid,good combinations and LWAYS in exciting fights. I erroneoulsy reported that he had been KTFO in his last fihgt,but it was in actual fact a DIFFERENT fighter names Jesus Soto Karass He's fighting tonight,coming off 8 wins in a row. A tough tough fighter. Always exciting,watch him if you can!

Oh crap,someone actually knows(and maybe likes) Soto Karass here too? I think I've posted about 4 threads about him and it's been me responding to myself! Yeah,Karass has a habit of fighting tough fighters! I hope he wins though and yeah,all his fights are exciting!

Yup,it's no surprise that Karass has won 8 in a row since training with Tony. He reminds a bit of Tony.The way he puts punches together,his tough chin. I think he is better technically and has a better jab but not as willful,physically imposing or strong/powerfull. Still,I'd like to see Karass for Berto.Heck,Karass v anyone is fun to watch!

I have no idea why but so would I. Berto seems humble etc but I just can't but think he's over rated. When I watch him(and I've seen quite a few of his fights) I find him..wooden..lacking?Maybe it's just me,nontheless,even if it is just me,I'd like to see Soto Karass beat his ass.

I like Berto alright, but your term "wooden" is just about a perfect term for him; though he did seem to lose some of that against Estrada. Mechanical could also be used.

I think Soto Karass is a good solid fighter, he just hit a bad streak of getting matched up real tough early on. I notice that now that he's with the new trainer he's on a good win streak. Buendia will gladly go toe-to-toe with him so this should end in a k.o. or both fighters bruised and bloody. The both have good chins so it could be a great fight.(Hoping)
