Default What are the next fights in the super middleweight division?

Hey guys. Long time no post, i know sorry about that.

Just an interesting dicussion/point. No fights in the super middleweight division have been finalised really for the future involving the top fighters.

So i was wondering what the next fights you guys can see will be.

    Including :
    Kessler
    Lacy
    Mundine
    Bute
    Froch
    etc etc

Just trying to gain some viewpoints?

    Thanks

    Good question.

    Carl Froch vs Denis Inkin
    Sakio Bika vs Mikkel Kessler
Anthony Mundine vs Danny Green 2
    Lucian Bute vs Jeff Lacy

hmm interesting. Froch vs Inkin thats going to be an awesome fight. Im going with Inkin to win it.

As for Mundine. Well if Danny Green losses. Who would he fight?

This division is so interesting. Because without Calzaghe everything is up in the air again.

I think Danny Green would fight Bika.

Then lets say with hindsight, Mundine beat Green, Kessler beat Bika, i believe Mundine vs Kessler 2 will be on the cards. Because there first fight was awesome.

Your points sound quite valid and have some truth.

But Danny Green has stated he is going to fight in light heavy and not go back to super middleweight.

Bika and mundine apparently are already in talks if Green looses. But would such a fight go through. And people are saying they will fight in the US, because of the contender contracts.

Read somewhere that Kessler's camp were eyeing Lacy. Lacy needs to be way further back on the comeback trail before considering that. Both guys must be looking for a confidence building fight.

Looking on Boxrec, non of the guys seem to have anything lined up, though I believe Froch-Inkin is in the making as an eliminator.

Boxrec does have Tsypko-Stieglitz lined up as an IBF eliminator in February though. Not too interesting names, I know, but will still be a decent test for Bute. He should by all means win it though.

I have said this for ages, but i reckon Bute is the dark horse of the division.

See Froch Stepping up, but only as far as Berrio or Inkin just Yet.

Lacy V Kessler seems to be showing itself.

Bute may be avoided by many...

Mundine will probably want an impresive display so he might employ Manfredo to take a whipping.

Jermaine Taylor is in the mix here and with a new mindset may make waves...
