I dont think you can call it a "good performance" since he pretty much quits in the 10th round.
Did you guys know that a fight between Douglas and Roy Jones Jr. was on the cards but Roy Jones Sr. but a stop to the negotiations?

I'm sure ICB means before he ran out of gas.Originally Posted by lance Uppercut

But I agree you can't call it a good performance if a fighter quits on his stool.
Buster Douglas performance with Mike is a good example how important having both mindset and skill-set working in conjunction . Buster would have been a handful for anyone that night.
I think that it was a similar situation to Bowe Holyfield. The opponent demanded 100% dedication concentration and effort. The dedication was put in and it showed on fight night.Originally Posted by Lords Gym

On the night of Tyson Douglas, Douglas was 100% ready and created a llegacy.

Quite funny that Douglas's two best performances both went 10 rounds.
