Whether it is by a knockout or a decision, an upset is an upset. A champion walks into the ring and loses its throne. Sometimes we root for the underdog and are excited at his rise to power, other times we praise the champion and will wholeheartedly stand behind him.

These four upsets made me cringe. As a boxing fan, I will always love Muhammad Ali, and his loss to Joe Frazier was difficult to endure. On the other hand, when Hasim Rahman knocked Lennox Lewis out…I was jumping with joy.

In our generation it's Buster over Tyson (That is the biggest upset of all time) Phillips over Tszyu, going backwards Braddock over Baer, Herrera over Olivares, Rose over Harada.

I think as far as real underdogs go Tyson VS Douglas is the biggest upset ever..With hindsight it's not so bad but what did people think of Tyson at that moment.Douglas was totally written off.
