How can Hatton be ducking Witter? fuck me, hes just moved up to fight the pound for pound champion and just because he wont fight Junior hes ducking him... Its just plain shit really. He has no name in America, unlike PM. He only has a WBC belt and for Hatton nows its not all about belts, its about making the money. He wants career defineing fights, and until the 140 devision sorts itself out a bit he cant do much else in terms of fights for his legacy. He isnt worried about fighting anybody at 140 mark my words.

Honestly, Hatton has a bit of a dilemma on his hands. He's too small to fight with any of the other elite welterweights and with his "Ricky Fatton" lifestyle he WON'T be able to make 140 in top condition that much longer and he'll start becoming weight drained more often. If I were him, I'd take the money with a huge ODLH fight in the UK in which whether he wins or loses, he'll still be considered the top guy at 140. And then break the bank again with Junior Witter who would probably have one more belt by then. Ricky's drinking and eating WILL catch up to him, it's just a question of when. I read somewhere that his team was going to have him fight five times in 2008, that's probably the smartest idea they've had for Ricky yet because fighting five times will allow him to stay in somewhat decent shape all year instead of blowing up a lot and then having to lose a ton of weight.

are you telling me he was weight drained for the Castillo fight? He was in the best shape at 140 ever and he dealed the goods. Anybody gets in with Hatton at 140 they will get beat. trust me.
