    I dont think he needed the prefight warm-up at that point. To go 12 rounds as well... crazy.

    The funny thing about the Lucas fight was that he intentionally did that to show how great of an athlete he was.
    It bit him in the ass, as the media began to say "Well that's the quality of opposition your fighting. You play a game of basketball then go into a Championship fight after the game and win"

    That's when people REALLY started knocking on his opposition.

    Thats the media for ya, you cant win. Any controversy thats possible they will stir up. Did he at least get some credit, that is pretty impressive IMO. No way he could pull that off today. Anyone thats ever played a full game of basketball knows its pretty tiring in itself, then 12 rounds after, thats great conditioning.
