Taken from dvdvr.com, who took them from the wrestlingobserver.

In an interesting side note, these are the UFC buys in order
    -DECEMBER 06: 1,050,000
    -FEBRUARY 07: 400,000
    -MARCH: 540,000
    -APRIL: 400,000
    -MAY: 675,000
    -JUNE: 200,000
    -JULY: 425,000
    -AUGUST: 520,000
    -SEPTEMBER: 475,000
    -OCTOBER: 325,000
I think this shows that the buys aren't booming up and up, but like all ppv's, vary according to the main event, ith the most successfull involving Chuck Liddell or Randy Couture.

    So they need to make

Oscar vs Liddell at WWE Wrestlemania.

Now that will make some dough.

I am very surprised that Vargas and Mayorga did 300,000 PPV's. Mayorga knows how to sell a fight, bring on Forrest 3

Vargas-Mayorga is definitely one of the stand out numbers here!

Significantly bigger than Cotto-Judah (225,000) and Barrera-Marquez (225,000), and just about the same as Hopkins-Wright (305,000). In fact not even far off Cotto-Mosley(340,000)! All of which were fights that in terms of significance and, at least I thought so, publicity were much, much bigger.

(Also, Vargas-Mayorga came only 5,000 buys short of being the biggest fight above 154 - surely not a sign of a good year for the higher weights?)
