agree, but he's been the most popular character of the series and it gives them time to draft a decent X4. Fox certainly messed up the last one, not waiting for Singer, Halle Berry demanding more screen time, not using Joss Whedon on the script

This has potential but if they use comic lore I don't know how much rape and killing you can fit in to a PG-13 film

Wolverine is a brilliant character but the actor that plays him is not brilliant. I could imagine a young Jack Nicolson playing him perfectly. Wolverine is over 100 years old and has lived in Japan and Canada and he has a lot to tell.

Older than that. Well Jack's short enough to play him Honestly I'm not sure who else fits the part.

    Doughray Scott was originally cast
I read on imdb that Russell Crowe, Mel Gibson, Ed Norton, Viggo Mortenson and Keanu Reeves were considered. The only one I'd consider out of that lot would be Crowe.

Was very dissappointed with X3, didn't quite fit in with the others.

They can do as many X films they want, I'll watch em all. Just hope they do a good job on them, looking forward for Wolverine and Magneto.

They should get this guy 'hypnotica' to play Wolverine..

He's actually quite a famous guy in his own right in certain circles.

Below is what he actually looks like normally. Which is not far off a wolverine humanoid

More pics of hypnotica.. He looks freakishly like Wolverine, and actually plays in at comic book conventions in Las Vegas every year..

Below is a youtube video he made.. You HAVE to watch it, it's absolutely loopy but the guy is creative and does have the potential to act... Watch at around 7 minutes, the "home proctology course"... any takers??

I guess anyone grows mutton chops and fluffs up their hair they'll look like him somewhat realistically they're not going to invest in him.

cmon.. surprised?? The rule is that if you make any money at all in the box office, then you make 2 sequels.. hahah..

I'm not surprised at all, nor would I be surprised if they made sequels to this one.. Spiderman 3 sucked, Pirates of the Caribbean 2 AND 3 sucked, among many others.. but the cycle always continues.

So considering there are already 3 X-men movies, why not make this spin off on a specific character? Basically it's X-men 4.

Batman was the same.. The first one wasn't that great, the 2nd and 3rd were complete rubbish!

But forget that those 3 were ever made, take Batman Begins and the 1st Batman movie, and i'd be happy to see a sequal for that one. I absolutely could not have standed them making a 4th batman movie with a bunch of shitty characters that appeared for like 3 days in the comics....

Starting it over again though, and doing in the right way, makes for the possibility of a promising series..

I'm not sure where they are going with the new x-men though... I understand why they made the new batman begin,,,, because they totally f'd it up the first time around...

But we'll have to wait and see.

yeah man, i'm pumped for The Dark Knight.. looks incredible, and it looks like they're finally doing the Joker right.. Looks like Heath Ledger is going to do a great job in this role.

    CC Master

Jack near the end of the movie Wolf would have been perfect.
