Default Update:Fulgencio Zuniga v Giovanni Lorenzo:winner to face AA

I have heard this fight is being lined Stateside which shows AA is serious about breaking the market there, which is a good thing. He has a fan friendly style. I'll take him to school El Chico Malo but I think Pavlik KTFO AA out. A Sturm fight would be good. Good move from AA if this happens.

Lorenzo is a good exciting fighter with good power, he also has a fantastic amateur background. Im picking Lorenzo to upset Abraham.

I'd be shocked if this aired on anything other than ESPN.

Giovanni Lorenzo is a very dangerous opponent, this definately deserves a HBO or Showtime card. I give Abraham big props for taking this fight if he does, Lorenzo has huge power at middleweight. Not a gimme whatsoever.

I think he hits pretty hard but it'll be a huge jump in class and AA was able to take(just about) take Miranda's power. AA wins this fight imo and looks good too, although I can see him getting hurt along the way He waits too long on his opponents and usually lets them get off first and counters.

He will box more in this one if he wants to be effective, I think Giovanni is a live dog, but no one really knows about him so I'd guess he'll get crap odds from everyone. I do think Abraham is more developed skill wise but never count the punchers out.

Arum said the plan is for Pavlik to fight Duddy in June with Abraham in the co-feature. Assuming both win, they would fight each other in the fall. Pretty good plan, IMO. Would be an excellent match, and I'd give Abraham a VERY good chance to win.

I wouldn't consider it an upset

    AA by KO...

Lorenzos got heavy hands and good work as he's been boxing as an am. and now as a pro but his chin has BIG question mark on it. If you've actually seen Lorenzo fight then you'd know this. He's been dropped by lesser punchers I don't think Lorenzo can go the full 12 with AA without getting tagged. Lorenzo will start off well and look good thru 4 rounds or so but AA will begin to catch him until he put's him away.

I remember when Lorenzo wanted to jump in and fight Mayorga in place of Vargas when Vargas first pulled out. I'm glad Mayorga didn't fight the guy. Cus if he hits as hard as at MW as most of you are sayin, that coulda been bad news for el matador.

"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

His power is not devastating in the sense of 1 punch KO or anything like that.
He has hevay hands something like Librado Andrade who hit's hard but is not a KO artist...
    Hope that makes sense...

It does. For his sake he better not be as easy to hit as Andrade.
