Default Yory Boy Campas v Amin Asikainen result, *SPOILER*

Asikainen won a 7th round TKO for those interested for the prediction contest.

Virtually everyone thought he would win on points but for Campas, it's time now to hang up the gloves.

Thats a shame. Campas has made it to 100+ fights he should hang em up now.

I am not really sure why Yori Boy is still fighting...Money maybe?......I have to agree though it is time for him to retire....

Campos has given many good years to the sport and though he was not always the winner in his big fights he always showed heart and has been a true warrior...He is a fighter that is often over looked but IMO worthy of the HOF.....

Maybe he will retire before he ends a whipping boy for every fighter out there looking for a name on his resume...or worse he ends up hurt,,,,Yori deserves better then that

He has had a tremendous career and been in with everybody. But, his biggest wins are Tony Ayala Jr. and Raul Marquez. Good wins but not HOF worthy imo. Hes definately as tough as they come though.

I don't think Yory will hang them up. He'll continue fighting but I think it'll be more of 8 rounders and stuff like that for the up and comers...

I hope he does retire as it's time.

Good job by AA here I thought Yory would give 'em hell throughout.

No way Campas deserves to be in HOF before he met Tito he fought all cab drivers except for Jorge Vaca who was well past his best. Campas always well short against elite fighters Tito, ODLH, Lopez, etc. His best win's were against Tony Ayala Jr, Jorge Vaca, Raul Marquez, hardly HOF worthy is it ?? just because he fought the best and showed heart in those losses, doesn't mean he deserves to be in HOF for being a good loser. I hate to say this but most of Campas's wins were padded fact.

I think it's time for an Askinainen-Duddy fight

I think it's more likely Asikainen gets to step in the ring with Sturm or Abraham than Duddy.

I've heard Asikainen has already twice been asked to face Abraham. I understood one time it would have been with too short notice and other time it didn't match with his other assignments... I think one of those cancelled dates against Sylvester. And if I'm not mistaken too much the purse offer by Abraham wasn't too impressive.

Sturm is assigned to an event in Germany early April and the opponent is still open, so who knows! IMO Sturm would be very convinient opponent in the ring for Asikainen. Propably hard to win on pts on German ground but definately worth trying to stop.
