Default Remembering a Frank Warren promise...

A while ago when Haye vs. Maccarinelli was first mooted, Frank Warren said, and I quote... "If Maccarinelli doesn't win I will retire from promoting!"

Frank Maloney promotions took out a full page add in boxing news magazine about a year ago with that quote on it, and an offer for Macca to take a fight with Haye.

I would love to take this oppertunity to push a petition if Haye wins next week, because I'd love to never have to see this prick again.

    Who's with me?

Nice idea but I'd rather petition Terry Marsh to make sure he kept his promise instead

Ive worked with all Promoters in Britain, theres only two who have never broken a promise to me, Barry Hearn and Frank Warren. With Frank his word is his bond.

But anyone remember the poor welsh rugby fan, who said if "Wales beat england i'll cut my balls off"

The poor sod did it. Now thats what I call keeping your word.

Frank was asked about this in the latest edition of Boxing Monthly and basically didn't commit to it. He just said that "He sometimes makes mistakes".
