After reading about Castillo failing to make weight it got me thinking about female boxing.

If a female boxer failed to make weight, would she throw a hissy fit and ask if the commission was calling her fat?

Actually... My hats off to female fighters... They jump divisions constantly to find legit comp. Look at Jamie Clampitt and Missy Fiorentino... Look at any legit female boxer, in fact. They NEED to jump weights.

You can imagine it though can't ya? Say a girl was in training, and her boyfriend dumped her, and she just stayed in and ate ice cream to make her feel better...lol!

I don't like watching it. One it kind of disturbs me to see a women bleeding. And two, it's like watching the WNBA it lacks the excitement cause they usually can't ko each other. In basketball they finish the fast break with a layup instead of the highlight reel dunk. I just don't like it.

its in its infancy some women you see in the ring just shouldn't be there but there are a few coming through that should and thats the difference between liking it or not for me...

saying that there was a show on German telly last night it was ladies night and the card was full of women boxing.

i had it on in the background when i was on this forum and then one of them got a nasty cut and had blood all over her face but the fight was good.... i watched it with mixed emotions
